They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. -- Isa. 40:31

Angels in the Aisles - A Child's Eye View

by Kevin McClarty

My father, mother and I were returning home from Vancouver, British Columbia. It was my mother's first flight ever. (We had rented a car and driven up and were flying home). Our flight was on a United Airlines DC8, a large, 4 engine jet.  It was 1967. My sister was away at college.

It was not my first flight, my one prior flight having been on a private plane. It was, however, my first flight in a large, commercial jet. I remember how excited I was while walking around the airport, listening to the planes and watching the flight attendants get ready to depart. I remember how important it was to me to be by a window. And so there I sat, watching the plane taxi out to the runway and listening to the engines roar. I remember listening intently while the stewardess explained the oxygen mask procedures, not knowing that just a few minutes later we would be doing it for real. DARE TO DREAM BIG

ASK, KNOCK AND SEEK

At recent men's ministry meeting, we were discussing the fact that many members of our  "family"  are underemployed or seeking employment. It was suggested that a common website or blog be created for those in this category so that those who have job opportunities or openings may choose to bless others who are in search of work.

"He who works his land will have abundant food."  Proverbs 12:11

Since it is the motto of Trinity Networking Teams (TNT) to "Ask, Seek, Knock" (Mt 7:7) and to "Connect, Serve and Grow," It is my desire to offer this blog site,as a better way to connect the body of Christ with needs to members of the body with potential solutions..

"All hard work brings a profit." Proverbs 14:22

Each individual may go on to this common blog site to post requests and to offer products and services. It is my prayer that others will be blessed as God works through each one who is drawn to this site.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace"  -- Num. 6:24-26
